I remember on the first track, Accidents Will Happen, Bruce Thomas’s bass wasn’t working at all. He was furious. Great bassist, but better when you can hear him.
I was playing bass in a jazz funk band called Straight No Chaser the same night. That’s how we got in. 🙂
