I wanted this to be so much better than it actually was. You’re right Kev, ruined by the sound engineers (and the leathered audience). Still, I did love Fowler’s rendition of Robin Hood, but not enough to save a disappointing gig IMHO.

The state of the audience was further verified on exit, where the rest of Brixton was in a similar condition. Rounds of Jaegermeisters and all-in-one Santa suits dominated the scene, and the bus home was messy…
